Black Dress
As a photographer, I am constantly trying to improve and evolve. So when I came upon an old photoshoot from a year ago, I realized I needed to retouch it using my new techniques and perspectives.
Elviria was photographed in several outfits. I recall being proud of my work at the time but looking at the images today, I see how much potential for growth there was.
This is presumably Part 1 of 4 or 5. I make every effort to keep each set to a maximum of ten images.
Retouching the photo shoot from a year ago taught me an important lesson: revisiting previous projects with fresh eyes and skills is essential for my development as a photographer.

Elvira and I were on a photo shoot a year ago in the picturesque village of Paradas near Sevilla. We walked by a petrol station and its owner, a lively and friendly man, noticed the model dressed in typical Sevillana outfits.

The owner turned on some music and began dancing with the model without hesitation. As they both swirled around in perfect harmony, everyone around them was laughing and clapping. The beautiful dress of the model flowed softly, and the owner's dance moves were remarkably smooth.

I quickly snapped some pictures, and the impromptu dance party ended just as suddenly as it began. We continued our shooting, still smiling and talking about the unexpected and funny encounter, as the owner waved goodbye and returned to his work.

As a photographer, I am always looking for new places to photograph interesting buildings. And on that particular day, I found myself in an industrial district of Sevilla, Spain. Guapo, my faithful companion, was by my side as always, wagging his tail in delight as we set out on our photoshoot adventure.

Guapo's nose lead us to a father and his small girl out on a walk as we made our way through the filthy streets. The small girl seemed curious at first, but as soon as she saw Guapo, fear overtook her. She clutched her father's hand tightly, refusing to let go.

Guapo is a huge dog with a muscular body that might startle anyone who didn't know who he was. But I also knew he was the sweetest of creatures, only wanting to play and make new friends.

hand tightly. Guapo stood at my side quietly, wagging his tail and staring up at her with huge, friendly eyes.

Then something extraordinary occurred. The tiny girl took a tentative step closer, her eyes still locked on Guapo. He sat up straighter, his tail wagging even faster, and approached her gently, as if sensing her fear.

It was a magical moment that I will never forget. As we said our goodbyes, the little girl ran back to Guapo and hugged him close around the neck as if to thank him for being such a good buddy.

Seville, with its beautiful streets, gorgeous architecture, and vibrant energy, has captured the hearts of many. As a street photographer, I was drawn to the people of Seville, their feelings, and their relationship with the city. But, as I went over my images from my four months in Seville, I saw a repeating theme: dogs.
As I went through the photos, I understood that the dogs of Seville had become a vital component of the city's charm.
They had shown me that there was more to the streets than just people and buildings. They had reminded me of the value of love, connection, and the basic pleasures of life.
Seville's dogs reflected the city's character, which was one of warmth, friendliness, and a strong appreciation for life's basic pleasures.
My goal as a street photographer is to capture the spirit of a place. And the dogs are an important part of that spirit in Seville. They reminded me that it is not just people that build cities, but also the things they love. Seville is a dog-loving city, and it is that affection that makes it special.
